Big fun was had by Blackridge residents as well as many people from surrounding communities at the 2nd Blackridge Bingo Blast held on Jan 17, 2009. It was a bitter cold, snowy night, but despite the sub-zero temps and threatening snow storm, 61 hearty souls braved the elements to attend the 2nd Blackridge Bingo Blast. We had players from all over Pittsburgh including Churchill Valley, Plum Boro, West Mifflin, Penn Hills, North Huntingdon, Turtlecreek, and even as far away as Johnstown.    Claudia Agnew, a long time Blackridge resident and the winner of the Jackpot from the first Bingo Blast volunteered her time to be the Bingo caller for our second gathering. Hats off and a BIG THANK YOU to Claudia and Paul!   Even though the snow and wind howled outside, the atmosphere inside the clubhouse was one of excitement and fun. The bingo players were in good spirits as they settled in with their lucky talismans for a night of fun, food and prizes. The evening was full of events that included, a Bake Sale, Door Prizes, 50/50 raffles, a $500 jackpot and great eats from the kitchen.   We hope to see you at the next Blackridge Bingo Blast. Remember we need your participation to continue this fun event.
