Blackridge Light-Up Night 2008

Blackridge Light-Up Night While it was a bone chillingly cold and extremely windy night, the First Blackridge Light Up Night was regardless a success.  Neighbors came out in droves bundled in their warmest hats and scarves to mingle with friends, enjoy hot homemade soup, cider and hot chocolate.  It’s not the cold outside we will remember, but how warm (both in temperature and kindness) it was inside the Turners where we caroled along with a brass band. Thank you to Rapp Funeral Home for generously donating the luminary kits, to the Turners for inviting us into their warm home, to the BCA Board for making and delivering the luminary kits, and especially to all of our members for making the BCA possible.  Let’s hope for warmer weather and less wind for the next Light Up Night!
